Now
Tuesday, March 03, 2009

Do we know if we were to wake up the very next morning? As darkness pierces the room, eyelids close, and as a dark vortex of ...black envelopes us only to be illuminated by the thoughts of the past day, how often do we take for granted; that we will arise to the same life as the one we left the day before.

The brevity of life.

Fleeting.

Death knows not time....and time..no meaning in its cogs and wheels. Time slips by unnoticed. Seconds are like the morning mist, unmarked. Minutes, like waves which crash on the shore. Hours ebb and flood. The night? Like the ocean on a cool Sunday. Dreams leave for one chant; the dulcet sound that steals over the deck over the willing waves of uncertainty. The uncertainty of tomorrow. The uncertainty couch'd by the marching hands of the clock. The sprinkle of maybe's we will face. But there is something which dreams and life blend, the kind which makes angels in the sky descend. "With you, there is only now...."

p/s: ok that obviously didn't make sense. hahahahahahaha

Halo - Kate Havnenik
Wednesday, February 18, 2009

Who do you love, when love is gone?
Who do you hunger in this great unknown?
Memories of me will fade soon
& you'll find someone new

See everyone halo bright in beauty
See everyone arrayed for you to try
You're not alone in being alone
Six billion people one of them's right for you

Who do you mean when you change your tone?
Who do you dream of when you're half asleep with one eye open?
You'll become your life soon
& I won't be in your way

See everyone halo bright in beauty
See everyone arrayed for you to try
You're not alone in being alone
Six billion people - one of them's right for you

Who do you see when you stare into space?
Who do you seek out in cyberspace?

See everyone halo bright in beauty
See everyone arrayed for you to try
You're not alone in being alone
Six billion humans - one of them's right for you

I like emo songs =)

I miss you so.

Yeye. Its been 2 years. You are never forgotten. I love you.

Wahliao weh.
Thursday, February 12, 2009

Wahliao is this an absolute record? Consecutive posts number 1. Number 2, now got 2 posts in a day. Its like I'm on a craze reminiscent of my Standard 5 Digimon and Pro-Yo days. ANYWAY, I've later got a 6 pm class.. which in UK terms means is as good as 8 pm considering it gets dark so early. I must add that I have the MOST boring teacher alive where in any Boring teacher competition confirm can win. Hands. Down. Encik Ravi my secondary Sejarah teacher is no match for him la. At least Ravi talks rubbish, which can be mildly amusing. So since today is a day of historic achievements. I am determined for (I think) the first or second time in my 3rd year history to stay awake the full 60 minutes. These are 5 of my secret weapons which I think will keep me awake.

1. Nap
Ok this one confirm check. Some more I slept in Econometrics class. Well rested, confirm.

2. Berocca
Check. A student's dream. Increase in concentration. Full of Vitamin C and B complex. Taste like Redoxon. But Im not sure whether it mixes with number 3.

3. Coffee
This one confirm check. I'll have double spoons to make sure the coffee is super kau. I hope this doesnt have some chemical reaction with number 2...after grow horns or a third leg..

4. Very pretty girl for welcome distraction.

Er.....half check. Hahaha. Jk jk. But Yen Li's my snooze alarm in lecture SOMETIMES waking me up in lecture. I dont know how she does it but she can actually WRITE NOTES while he's talking. Legendary is she or is it legendary, she is? Aiyah whatever. Last one

5. Pray I can either pray for a new lecturer, which most likely wont happen. Lecture to be cancelled because of snow :P (which sadly wont happen) or pray to stay awake...confirm will happen!

I'm positive..... :)

YAY!

Random Occurings: Today I saw someone use a black Ipod outside my lecture hall. I was CRUSHED looking at it. (rewind : I lost my Ipod a week ago, dont ask me why or how) And as I was thinking to myself, I sort of complained to God..."Why when I see an Ipod I feel so sad?" and the response "Why when you sin you not sad?" Ok random. Now deal with it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A happy day of sorts. I actually was in the first time in the history of my 3rd year at LSE was EARLY...read E.A.R.L.Y for my 9 am Econometrics class. So early was I that it wasn't even 9 it was 8.57. 3 minutes early. So early was I that I was the 6th person to come in the lecture hall. So early that the lecturer wasn't even there. So early I could take my pencil box out. Paper and pen ready to attack whatever he was to say. So early I could daydream about ...something really insignificant I can't even remember what. So early that the projector the computer wasn't even switched on.

So early that...I fell asleep. (-.-)'' (for half of it)

Nevermind it's a start. Next time early plus wide awake!

(and I blogged two days in a row! this counts as a proper post right)

But now your toilet break involves a girl
She's like a "Kok kok Kai" (english translation : chicken)
With her hair so "wai"
Your taste just drives me insane

Chorus:
Now your fist lands on my face
What did I do but you're
Punching and kicking me dead
Please dont punch me, please dont punch me
Help me
What did I do but you're
Punching and kicking me dead
Please dont punch me, please dont punch me
